Which oversight framework measures would move your trust most, by how much and by when

Trimtab recalculates every acute trust's NHS Oversight Framework score from NHS England's published data. It reproduces the published league table exactly, then tests each improvement against the trust's own monthly track record.

ExamplePublished data, Q1 2026/27

An acute trust, 72nd of 133, could reach 51st with three improvements it has made before

  • Cancer faster diagnosis0.05 NOF points
  • Diagnostic waits over 6 weeks0.04 NOF points
  • A&E stays over 12 hours0.03 NOF points

NHS England, NHS Oversight Framework, Q1 2026/27, with monthly returns to September 2026. The trust is not named. Each improvement is one the trust has achieved within the last year; together they would take its average from 2.44 to 2.32. A lower average is better.
